I am so thankful that I have awesome friends who like to do awesome things. Mid-September I was invited to go on a ladies hike over in Grand Teton National Park. It was the perfect time to catch all the fall colors and Death Canyon did not dissapoint! Nor did the company! We had such a fun time chatting on the drive over and back, and during the whole hike! Also a big shout out to Phil for encouraging me to go and having Lola and Riggs while working at the same time! He's a rockstar!
The views during the hike were pretty uneblievable. The colors and the way the landscape changed was also so interesting and beautiful. We saw a momma moose bedded down with her calf through the "jungle section" and a few other critters here and there. It was my lucky day that we stopped at the top where the river snakes it way down over boulders and rocks. It speaks to my soul and fills me up! It's in places that like that I feel connected to earth and to God. His creation is humbling and yet I feel as if I am part of it, as if it's speaking to me. I don't know how else to explain it. It's awesome and it rejuvenates my soul.
