Lola and Her Pedal Bike

    A few months ago we started Lola on the little blue pedal bike. We immediately noticed that teaching a girl was going to be very different than teaching our boys. They had no fear and while Lola really wanted to ride the pedal bike and was excited to practice, she had a little fear inside her. Still, it didn't take too long before she was off on here own--maybe 3 times practicing with Dad and 4 times with me and she was set. She was proud of herself and was the most excited to show Audrey that she could ride her pedal bike. After a few months of riding we have each attempted to teach her how to start on her own, but she shuts down and doesn't want anything to do with that! Funny girl!
