Last Moulton Wedding

So technically it's not the last Moulton wedding, but it is the last of the Moulton siblings! Before the wedding, we took our family and skipped back down to Hurricane to catch a couple more days of sunshine. This time we went with Nate, Oakley and baby Ridge. It was fun to have both the babies who are only 10 days apart down there and it will get even more fun as they get older. I told Phil that I only wanted to do two things while I was down there, get a pedicure for the wedding and get a little sunburn. I was able to do both, so the trip was an entire success!! The kids had a great time down there as well and were good sports about all the homework they needed to do. For me it was a tiny glimpse of what homeschooling might look like. Ha! The kids and I spent a ton of time out by the pool after they finished their homework and we got several rounds of The Game of Life with the life pod. That has turned out to be a fun thing we can do all together. Of course mountain biking happened. I kept Lola and both babies while everyone else road Bear Claw Poppy. Phil said that Brewer did so much better than just the trip before! While they were gone, I got a taste of what it would be like having twins! Lola and Ridge just slept the whole time and Riggs got a little grouchy, but overall they did great!
After our few days in Hurricane we headed back to Provo and helped with whatever we could for the wedding. It was great to have everyone together and the cousins just played and played, I hardly saw any of my kids. Haha! We took all our kids to the wedding dinner at Riverside the night before. It's a really good time to catch up with different family members and Lola got some extra Uncle Brennen time, which we have concluded is her favorite person on the planet. Of course the siblings gave some presents to Meg to help her adjust to some of Quin's quirks.
The wedding was early the next day, which we were all glad about even if it meant none of us really did our little girls hair. The sealing was extra special since Grandpa Monson was the sealer and we got to hear the new wording of the ordinance. Pictures were also quick afterwards and soon we were headed back home to prep for the reception. The Moulton ladies finished the cake, which was phenomenal and fun to watch them work together to get it finished. Phil and the dads took the kids to Nickel City to get them out of the house for a while and out of the way of all the work that had to be done. I really do enjoy helping out and working with the sisters to make everything come together. It's great bonding time! Riggs was a champ, of course, and was just along for the ride.
The reception was beautiful, my favorite out of the bunch, with a more rustic feel. The food was yummy, the company even better and the fireworks were amazing! We hardly saw our kids, they played and just ran around and went through the food line whenever they wanted. By the end of the night everyone was so exhausted from the amazing, fun-filled day!
