Delta Lake

     The stars aligned this fall. I was invited to go with some really fun girls on a hike up to Delta Lake in Grand Teton National Park. This hike was on my bucket list and Phil was extremely selfless and said he would keep Riggs and Lola during the day...while he was working, so I could go. A good friend of mine also helped watch Riggs and Lola in the earlier morning hours which is Phil's busiest time of work. So like I said, the stars aligned! The day was great getting to spend it with girls, out in nature, hiking and enjoying beautiful places that are truly awe inspiring. I feel so close to God in those moments and this experience was no different! It was amazing! After we soaked up all the glory and goodness from Delta Lake, we realized part way down the trail that one of our friends was not going to be one time to work. To help her not be quite as late, decided to run down the trail to make up some time! It was a fun adventure to add to the end of the trip. Also, we realized that the reason some of the roads were closed were due to grizzly bears eating carcasses on the roadside. This was not far off my prediction of someone getting mauled and eaten by a bear. :O
