I'm always excited for conference. I'm excited to hear the prophet and apostles speak. It's interesting to me so see what they have chosen or been inspired to speak about, about what we as a church, need to hear most. I always feel edified and uplifted throughout each conference session and there seems to be something that I specifically need to hear. This year I was stunned as I listened to Elder Rasband's address. He spoke of his grandson who has a unique disability and has struggled in similar ways as our sweet Brewer. Our families have had the same thoughts and emotions. Every bit of his talk was comforting--from knowing we are not alone in our hardships to hearing uplifting and comforting words. I want to memorize each inspired phrase. I think I'll print out my favorite quotes and hang them around my house to read on a particularly hard or challenging day. I am so grateful for this talk and I can't wait to go back and listen to them all again! I am so grateful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! It brings be so much peace, comfort, and joy.
Here's the link to Elder Rasband's talk.

YOu really are amazing and people have so much admiration for you. I was with some friends last night and one of them knew amy and had heard the story and read your blog. She doesn't know you but couldn't stop saying how amazing you and Phil are. People really are thinking about you so much. i hope things continue to get better each day
