A few weeks ago it was actually warm enough to spend some time playing out in the snow. After Boyd and I shoveled the back deck and plowed the driveway we had some fun. Boyd really wanted to make a snowman and we had everything ready to do that, scarf, eyes, nose, etc. But the snow was too dry. Instead we made a slide on the huge mound of snow that gets piled up in front of our house and then proceeded to make a snow cave. Boyd mostly just played fetch with Remy while I did all the digging. It was a win win for him. He got to play while I did the work. But we had a great time and it was fun to get out of the house. Even though Boyd thought the cave was great, I was a little disappointed. I'm used to building huge elaborate things with my family, but being pregnant put me at a disadvantage. Maybe we'll get another chance to make it better.
