For a few weeks now I have been planning on playing Bingo at my friend Tiffany's house. But it turns out Bingo was never the plan. Instead these two, Tiffany and Audrey, threw me a surprise baby shower! It was amazing! Everything was perfect and I was shocked at how many people were there! I felt so loved!
Sadly, I took hardly any pictures--I was too busy having fun. We ate some super yummy treats (even Tiffany made my Mom's brownies from scratch) and played some fun games. Thank you everyone for your amazing and thoughtful gifts and great conversation!
I think my favorite part of the night were these little "wishes for baby" cards. Everyone at the shower filled one out, but they were also sent to our family before hand to be put on display. They were so sweet. I read Phil's aloud to the group at the beginning, before I really realized there were so many of them, or any others from my family. After I walked into the kitchen I saw this one first and immediately recognized the handwriting as my Dad's.
I definitely have a soft spot for him and got a bit emotional when I saw it. It is very sweet. They are all very sweet. It was touching to see so many friends and family put thought and effort into filling one out. I'm excited for when Brewer is old enough to read through them himself. They will be something that our family cherishes forever.
These are just a couple random pictures from Sunday, February 5th.
~35 weeks~
Can someone please tell me how to pose for these pictures. I look like I feel super awkward...
