Student of the Month

     At the end of February Boyd was awarded Student of the Month in his class. We were very proud of him because he had worked very hard that month to improve his focus and listening skills. Each day we sent him to school with a bracelet that said, "Laser Focus" or something to that effect to help him remember what he was working toward. He got to the point where he didn't need the bracelet to help him remember. We also picked up on reading that month and when Boyd finished his work, which he usually did, he would test on the books he was reading, advancing his AR points. Now he is still working on all those things and just the other day he told me that when he finished his math assignment he went around the class helping other kids who hadn't finished. It was definitely a proud parent moment. We love Boyd and his thirst for learning and his willingness to always try to improve and try his hardest.
