TWO Months for Baby Girl

I wish I would have written this post so much earlier!! But at least I will have the pictures to document her second month. Lola has continued to the baby of my dreams and a dream baby. She hardly ever cries, is easy to get to put down for a nap and eats well. She is still taking prevacid, which is very helpful and she's a happy camper when she's taking it. Around 7 or 8 weeks she slept through the whole night a few times. It was amazing. But even when she was waking up in the night she was quick and would go right back to sleep. Her internal clocks still put her out for the night in-between 10 or 10:30, it really couldn't be more perfect!!
She loves her bath. There isn't a place where she is more content. She has started to coo and talk and we love it! Sometimes when she starts to get a little fussy laying on the floor it's because she just wants someone to talk to. She likes having her diaper off and having her legs rubbed. I also love rubbing her baby soft and squishy legs! She's smiling a little more and let's me play dress up whenever I want. It's getting more and more fun.
At first appointment before Thanksgiving, he found out that there were some broken screws in his right legs, holding his bone graft together. We were very grateful that the graft was holding up even wit the broken hardware. But it meant that they needed to be fixed and ASAP. He was scheduled for surgery on the 7th. It was a little nuts with moving, but we managed to haul our family down to Utah for the weekend I was able to leave the boys with Grandma Moulton on surgery day. Surgery day was a nuts. We arrived a little early to bring cinnamon rolls to the rehab unit and then headed to check in. We got back quickly but soon learned that surgery would be postponed for several hours because a trauma unit came in. It was a little disappointing because who likes dragging on surgery and fasting, having to spend multiple hours in a little pre-op room, but we know what it's like to be on the other end, in the trauma situation. Lola was a champ at the hospital, even if she had a blew out right when we checked in. The nurse informed me that she has poop all up back when she came in to check on us...like I didn't know, thanks. =) After several hours, Phil finally went back to the OR. It gave Lola and I just enough time to finally grab some lunch/dinner and do a quick feeding. AND a very adorable photo shoot in the waiting room. Survey went well, but Phil was in some pain. Since surgery was pushed back so long, we headed back to Provo, instead of home and waited to go back the next day.

Now here's a million pictures because we just can't get enough of our sweet baby girl and a few others from the month.
