Last Minute Weekend Trip

In August we found out that we had to move again. The house we were renting sold and so we had until the last day of August to move out. It took us a while to find another place to rent and even when we did it wasn't ready until September 3rd. We were so grateful to be able to rent that home for those couple of the months during the summer. We were able to have so much fun there, being so close to our friends and having a huge backyard! It was perfect! During the last week we were there a few different situations arose that were not ideal.  To keep a long story short, we were a little fed up with the whole situation that we decided to move out a few days early and just go down to Utah. It was SO crazy. Friday after the BYU football game and after we put the boys to bed, Phil said something like what if we go to Utah this weekend? I thought he was crazy because that meant we would have to hurry and pack up everything in the morning. It sounded alright except that maybe we were just crazy enough to do it all right then...starting at 10 PM. And we did. Nate and Phil headed to get the box trucks, we packed up all our clothes and the rest of the kitchen things. The boys loaded up coolers and I cleaned the bathrooms, the kitchen, and mopped the floors. We finished at 1:30. It was very impressive, although I hope that I don't have to do that again in my life. =) In the morning we loaded up the rest of the beds, ran a vacuum and we were on our way to Utah, with no home...again. =) Thankfully, we actually did have a home, our trusty pop up tent trailer. We must have been inspired or something to buy that thing because we have used it so much. The weather was amazing in Utah, which was another reason we wanted to go down. It was supposed to rain in Driggs. The kids had fun riding in the Ranger and Pop Pop took them to Will's of course! The girls were even able to get pedicures Monday morning. It was a fun and relaxing weekend, much better than moving!
