Teton River Friends

At the beginning of August we bought some of our own paddle boards. We loved it so much and loved that our whole family could go that we decided to take the plunge on our own set. When they arrived we were eager to test them. We thought it would be fun to invite some friends that hadn't tried paddle boarding before, but it turns out that the majority of them would rather ride in canoes with their families. The Boogaard's were super awesome and got the canoes for everyone else and provided dinner for everyone. They were the MVP for the night for sure! Phil took Brewer on his paddle board because he didn't have the mental energy to handle Remy and I took Remy. After a couple of stressful minutes, where Phil was positive Remy was going to drown, we got on our way. Remy did much better this time around, as did Brewer. Although we ended up putting Remy in a canoe about 1/2 way through so it would be easier to take other kids for a ride on the paddle boards. We all had a really fun time. Of course we saw another moose. Actually I didn't see it because I was too far behind the bend in the river, but Phil and Brewer and almost everyone else did. This time it was a bull moose... in the water. Crazy! He didn't even run out when he saw our gang coming along. Phil said that he stared at everyone for a minutes then slowly turned around and walked out. I do wish I would have seen it, but it might have got my adrenaline running!
