Golfing for Family Night

A few weeks ago Phil did some trade work in order to get a membership at Targhee Village. It's not the nicest course, but it's affordable, close, and the best part is that Phil can take Boyd. They have already gone over half a dozen times. They always come home so happy and it's easy to tell that Boyd just had the time of his life! Plus I get the house to myself--sometimes I catch up on cleaning and others I just veg with no distractions. It's awesome! As someone would say, it's a win win win!

This last Monday we decided to all go for Family Night. After Phil got home from work, we had a quick dinner and then we were off. The weather was perfect. The scenery was beautiful. And we had such a fun time as a family. It was fun for me to see what it's been like for Phil when he takes Boyd along. Boyd enjoyed every second. He loved riding in the golf cart and then putting on the greens.

We even found a little friend. I was surprised that Boyd actually wanted to let it crawl all over him.

Boyd would sift through the broken tees and try to find one that Phil could use to tee off. They're a great team!

Another team effort. When they get to the green, Boyd pulls out the flag so Phil can putt and then Phil helps Boyd putt.

Checking out the little creek on the 9th hole.

I wish Phil would have gotten a pass earlier in the summer. And I think we're both agree that Phil will be getting one again next year. Sometimes the evenings can drag on, but this is a great way to spend our time. Whether it's as a family or just the boys!

I love seeing this. It's so fun to see Phil be such a good daddy. Love it that the golfing has been a win win win situation for you all! Miss you guys.
