Last week Phil and I decided we needed to go on a date. We had some movie passes and our good friends, Grant & Tiffany, had a gift certificate for dinner. Since the movie was in Idaho Falls (an 1 1/2 drive from Driggs) we decided to make a day of it. We ran all sorts of errands. We had lunch at McDonalds so that Boyd could play in the Play Place and get out some of his wiggles. He had such a great time! I'm sure we'll be going back. We stopped at Winco, Wal-Mart, Harbor Freight, and the mall. After that we went to Phil's Grandparents and his stopped in to say hi to his Uncle. When we left Driggs in the morning it was snowing like crazy. I was glad to be leaving the snow behind. We did get a bit of sun in Idaho Falls in between the snow, wind, hail, and rain. Sheesh. Spring is crazy here.
After dinner, Phil and I dropped Boyd off at his grandparents before we met back up with Grant and Tiffany for the movie. We were just going to put Boyd straight to bed, but Phil's grandma insisted we just leave him up since he was happy. I was a little nervous, but they told us that he was great! After we left he did wander around the house saying "MA! DA!" But he wasn't upset, he was just looking for us.
We saw Robin Hood which every one enjoyed! It was so fun to have a date night (and such a cheap one) and to spend time with friends! Hopefully we'll do it again soon!

I opted to stay in the car with Boyd while Phil ran into Harbor Freight (it just opened in Idaho Falls). He loved to be out of his seat in the car. I put George in his seat and Boyd thought it was the funniest thing ever, probably because he figured as long as George was in there he wouldn't have to be.
We have a pond in the middle of our complex and when the sun it out we take Remy out to play fetch.
Below are some cupcakes I made a few weeks ago. Tres Leches. Yummy.
