Our family traveled down to Utah for Mother's Day weekend. It was amazing weather which was a perfect Mother's Day gift all by itself.
Phil and I went up to the BYU bookstore one morning with Boyd. It was a beautiful day and fun to see the campus again.
This kid was so excited just to be outside and frankly so was I.
Lately, he's been all about balls (especially baseball) and sticks. He's a boy through and through.
Beth was my angel. Boyd loved her and she was such a great help. I'm pretty sure she changed more diapers than I did over the weekend and gave Boyd all his baths! It was so wonderful to have her help!!
One day we went swimming up at the Lehi pool with Rachel, Quinton, and Beth. We had been there before and last time I thought Boyd was a little small for the baby section. So I thought this time he would love it. It turns out he liked playing in the big kid section better. They have a great play structure with a slide, lots of places that shoot water, a tunnel, and a big bucket that dumps water every 10 minutes or so. That kid loves swimming! It makes me so sad that we don't have a pool up here. I guess it just means that we'll be taking a lot of trips down to Utah this summer.

Phil took Boyd in the morning and let me sleep in. Truly the best gift!! And then Beth made me breakfast in bed!!
We also got to talk to Phil's brother, Grayson, who is serving a mission in Australia. It was great to talk to him and he told us that he was coming home a little earlier than expected because of the transfers day and all. So on June 9th we'll be heading to the airport to pick him up! Very exciting!!

i'm glad you guys had nice weather for mothers day, and it was so nice to see you guys that friday night :) i think you should come down to utah a whole bunch this summer so we can go swim with our kids!

Another fun trip! Your family picture is very sweet and I'm glad you finally got to enjoy the weather. I'll try not to make you feel bad by telling you that I got a little sunburned yesterday from being outside all day :)
So fun! Was it weird taking a stroller into the BYU bookstore? I always remember seeing girls with babies and thinking how weird it would be when I was one of them. Kind of surreal. Can't wait to see you guys this summer.
