I got cold again or maybe I should say it got even colder. So as much as we would like to be out on walks, we're stuck inside. Here are just a few random pictures from the last week or so.
Boyd loved the Valentine card sent from Grandma Thelin. In this picture I asked Boyd to hold up and show me the card and this is what I got: him licking it.
The other day I was making dinner and Boyd was surprisingly entertaining himself by carrying this rug around. It ended up in the middle of the floor near the kitchen where Remy always lingers when I'm cooking. So instead of standing around, Remy thought that rug would be a good place to sit and watch. I then, of course, made Boyd sit next to her for a picture. Later I showed this picture to Phil and he replied with, "Remy is so stupid" (we always laugh at the stuff she does). But I disagree. I think she's quite smart to pick a soft spot to sit instead of on the cold, hard tile.

He also loves to play on our bed. However, it getting dangerous. He started jumping off into my arms, which we do until my arms are sore. But now he will just jump, fall, or walk off even if some one isn't there to catch him. We're working on that one.
Last Saturday, Phil was able to go snowmobiling with one of our friends, Grant. He had such a great time! I met up with them and Grant's wife, Tiffany, and their two kids for lunch. It was so much fun to get out of the house and actually have something to do! After we ate we took Boyd for a little ride. The sun came out and it was actually a little warm. Thankfully, Tiffany had this great little number for Boyd to wear. We all agreed that he looked a bit like a tele-tubby, but it kept him nice and toasty! It was a really fun Saturday and Phil is already looking forward to next time he can go out.

Looks like you guys are having a lot of fun, despite being stuck inside most the time. Looking at pictures of Boyd and Remy make me want to get a dog right now! They are just so stinkin cute together.
You guys look like you just have such a fun time all the time! Boyd is growing up so fast! I love the pics!
oh yay for new pictures!!! i wanna see that little boyd again soon. its been so long! aspen does the same thing with sitting on soft spots--i remember at christmas she would sit with her bum right on the tree skirt, which was slightly snugglier than the carpet. these dogs just know what they like!

BURRR... I don't know if I could make it one winter day in Driggs. You are a soldier! I'm so glad you had a fun day-out, and have fun friends to get together with. Boyd is looking darling and seems like he's matured a year since the last time I saw him. He seems so grown up! We miss you guys like crazy!!!

it's so hard to live there in the winter. But at least you have good friends to do some of the fun outdoor winter stuff! Grant, and his whole family are such GOOD people! Thayne was a year older than me, and the nicest guy you will ever meet! Their grandpa sealed Taryn and I. Such a great family!
