Sun Valley

If you've never been to Sun Valley, you should go.

This is a picture of our little family in front of the Lodge with the famous Sun Valley Sun!

We did so many fun things while we were there! This is a shot of all the girls taken right before we went on the mountain! It was so much fun to go with so many people! And Thanks to Grandma for watching Boyd while Phil and I enjoyed a day on the slopes!

Then there was bowling! It was a lot of fun with a big group. Boyd was passed around like hot potatoe, which he seemed to enjoy. Grandma and Grandpa Monson were even able to come up and stay for a night.

This is Phil's dad, Todd. Don't you love the cowboy hat!? We took pictures of every one 'mid-bowl'. It was pretty funny to see their facial expressions and stroke in action.

And here is Phil. So serious.

Each year we also work on a puzzle. We were so proud of the completed project that we had to take a picture!

We also went sledding, which was somewhat suicidal because the snow was so icy and there were major bumps you could not avoid. Unfortunately, we did not have enough sleds for "The Thelin Train" but I think if we did, some one would have gotten seriously hurt.

We were so happy that Amy and Clark were able to come from North Carolina. It's always so great when we get to see them! I love this picture of Clark and Boyd--it's so sweet!

One of our favorite parts of the trip was just hanging out and relaxing!

The day we left we all went ice skating! It was a ton of fun, just like everything else we did. We even took Boyd on the ice in his stroller, but that only lasted until we heard: "Attention everyone! Please no strollers on the ice." It was sort of funny that he said 'attention everyone' seeing as we were the only ones pushing a stroller around while we skated. But Boyd was great. We just parked the stroller off to the side and he slept. 

This might be my favorite picture of the trip. It's pretty hilarious!

You know how sometimes on vacations you are ready for them to be over and to get back to normal life. Well, that wasn't the case for this vacation. I'm pretty sure I wanted it to last forever! Phil, Boyd, and I want to thank Mom and Dad for making the vacation so great and making it possible for the family to do so many fun things together! We really did have a great time. We also want to thank Syd for watching Remy so we could go.
