Picture Request

Nothing too exciting has happened over the last couple of weeks, but I have been getting requests to post more pictures. So to every one who did make the request...here you go.

We did have our two week check up on the 13th. Boyd is still small. He measured in the 17th percentile for both length and weight and in the 25th percentile for head size. I'm pretty confident, however, that soon he'll catch up and start putting on the pounds.

My cousin Sydney took some family pictures for us last Friday. I love them and thought I would share a few. If you want to view the rest of them, you can go to gallery.me.com/phillipmoulton.

For the most part we are doing really well. As usual, Phil is busy with school, work, and projects around the house. His latest projects included installing a new kitchen faucet and replacing all of the interior doors upstairs. I love our new faucet and the doors look really great! Now we just need to paint the door jams to match the color of the doors.

Last week I started feeling really good.  Except for being tired I feel pretty normal and recovered from every thing.  Boyd's not really on a schedule, except for at night. He goes to bed at 11 and then wakes up at 2. We usually get back to sleep between 2:30 and 3 and then he wakes up again at 5. Again, we're up between a half hour and hour and then he wakes up again at 8. He mostly sleeps from 2 - 3 hours, and every now and then he sleeps for 4. During the day there really is no schedule. When he sleeps during the day, I know that I should try to catch up on some sleep, but getting things done and accomplishing things around the house always wins out. As we speak, Boyd is sleeping and here I am putting a new post on my blog. Maybe I need to work out my priorities! Each night I tell myself that tomorrow I will take a nap, but then I feel the need to get things done. I never thought that I would rather unload my dishwasher or do laundry over taking a nap. Some days taking a shower is all that I am able to accomplish. But I guess for now that's okay.

We love the wrinkles on his forehead!

Boyd looks so grown up in big boy clothes. Too bad they are still big for him!

Oh my goodness he is so cute. We are so excited to see him! I love the wrinkles on his forehead and I'm a little jealous that he's still so small. I wish Peyton was still only a few weeks old. But I digress. If all you do for yourself is take a shower, that is good enough! Things will start to settle down in a couple weeks, and you'll be able to get a lot more done. Until then, just enjoy every middle of the night feeding, because he's only so tiny once, and you only are a first time mom ONE time. And enjoy every minute he won't let you put him down, because in just a short time, he will become Mr. Independent, and he won't want to be held (not any time soon, but still). Anyway, you look wonderful, and Boyd is a doll. We're so excited to meet him and see you guys. You have no idea how much we miss you.

Love the new pictures. He has such olive skin! Definitely a Phillip gene. Is it bad that I hope he stays little until Christmas? I don't want him to grow up too much before I can see him! By the way, Jerai, you look superb!

what a beautiful family! I'm so glad you are feeling better and a little back to normal. That battle between nap or chores will always be there. Some days you'll just crash and sleep and others you will be so happy you got something accomplished (even if it is just a shower or blog update!)

o i just love him!!!!! and i love you guys! every time i go to provo to run errands i have this argument with myself to just blow off all the stuff i have to do and come visit you. i agree with what ashton wrote, im getting nervous because i just love all the cuddles, and i'll be sad when jake doesnt want to snuggle up anymore. i just barely blew off making dinner to have a snuggly nap with jake. totally worth it.

You guys are such a cute family.
Boyd is a darling baby. I love his lips!
Can't wait to see him in person, maybe around Thanksgiving?
Sorry, I haven't called you yet.
We love you very much and love "checking" on you via Blogg.
What a great tool.
Thanks for posting all those beautiful pictures.

alright, vern. how about this? how about i come over monday afternoon (or tuesday or wednesday - you pick). i'll bring you dinner and watch boyd, and you can take a long nap (or at least lay down for a long time...or go to the store or whatever) don't argue with me. it's going to happen, because a - emily's been having a hard time out in va and no one is there to help out with the kids and so i'm hoping that if i can help you in some small way, someone will help her. 2 - i like babies. holding them is therapeutic for me. d - i like you and i hate that i never see you.

sounds like a deal.

I don't know how I didn't see your post until now! I'm usually so good at catching the new ones as soon as they're up (cause I'm such a ridiculous blog addict). I love the pictures! You guys are so cute! Jerai, you look great. And that picture of you holding Boyd in the kitchen made me so happy. I just kept thinking...Jerai has a baby...her very own baby. That's so great! You look great as a mommy! I miss you guys so much and can't wait to hold Boyd (I mean seriosuly, I was supposed to be the first to hold him...or at least bring him to the warmer :) ). I'm counting down the days till I come to Provo. Not too much longer! I love you so much, Jerai. I'll give you a call next time I'm driving to work.

He is so darn cute! You look sooo good too..wow. I felt the exact same way about the shower and doing things instead of sleeping. For some reason it feels good to do something other than sleep..but when you need to, you'll sleep. He seems like a good eater and sleeper! It's going to get better fast...the sleep part. He is so cute and so teeny :) I'm so happy for you..and I'm glad you are feeling recovered! It took me a while to feel good again, but the body does such an amazing thing...then it goes into shock! I wish I could see you sometime...
