I think the reason that I haven't updated anything on here is because we have been so busy, I'll try to catch up as best as possible.

We spent fourth of July weekend up in Driggs, Idaho with Phil's Grandma Moulton. While we were there, she finished and gave us a beautiful blanket for little Boyd. It was so sweet and I can't wait to snuggle him up in it.
This was up at Grandma Moulton's in the little pond right next to her house. While Remy loves playing fetch in the water, she doesn't really like to go where she can't touch and has to swim.
Phil decided that it would be fun for us to ride horses while we were staying with his Grandma. I was NOT set on riding a horse, but Phil kept trying to convince me. However, after he started riding this guy, we both realized I would not be riding a horse that day. The horse was a knuckle-head. He would listen a little, but then kind of do just what he wanted. I was impressed with Phil's skills of keeping him under control, but I have to admit that it was not that fun for me to watch.
One afternoon, while we were in Idaho, we traveled to Jackson Hole, Wyoming for lunch. It's such a fun town visit and to look at all of the shops. This time we only had time to get some lunch and we finally decided it was time to take a picture under the antlers. All of the other times that we have been to Jackson, it was too cold to stop for a picture. This time it was almost too hot to stop (in my pregnant opinion).

Jess and Kristie threw me a baby shower in the middle of July. I still need to gather some pictures...some how I didn't end up taking any with my own camera. It was wonderful, though. They did a great job and I really enjoyed myself. It really meant a lot to me that so many people were able to make it.

We also sent off Grayson, Phil's younger brother, on his mission. It was so much fun to experience that again. It's been a while since my brothers have served and it was such a wonderful experience to see some one take that step. I was glad to be a part of it.

The third week in July my parents came in to town for Peyton's (Jade & Ashton's new baby girl) baby blessing. While they were in town they helped us paint our nursery. While I'm thrilled that it's finally painted, I do feel bad that we did it while they were in town. It took SO much time, but we loved the help--both mentally and physically.
Here the starting point for our painting project. On the left is the first step: painting the ceiling and the molding. On the right is the second step: painting the base coat. These were by far the best (easiest) steps.
These stripes took us by far the longest to tape off and paint. Good thing it was towards the beginning when we still had a lot of energy.
Only one more set of stripes: the brown. Oh yeah, did I mention that we had to paint all of the baseboard and molding too...and put it all up?
Here is the final project--after four days and too many hours to keep track of, the painting is finished (except the touch-up).

Jess and Nate stayed with us for most of the month and it was wonderful!! There were only two bad/sad things about it. One-that we were all so busy working that we didn't have too much extra time to spend hanging out with each other. Two-saying goodbye. We're really going to miss those two, I still haven't figured out what I'm going to do with out them so close by.

Phil's Mom threw a little BBQ party for Phil's 25th birthday. Phil was very excited to have his birthday in Utah with his family--it had been since before his mission that he had spent his birthday with his family. I hope it was a success.

I am so grateful that we have so many things going on this month. It has madetime go by extremely fast. We have a few more exciting events to look forward to in August, so I hope August and September will go by just as fast, or faster than July. We just can't wait to get this little guy here.

Jerai, how fun to spend the 4th in Driggs. I love little Boyd's room. You did a fantastic job on the paint. It looks awesome. Happy Birthday to Phil too. :o)
I love seeing the "finished projects" The nursery is adorable, I was glad we could be there to see it happen! The only thing you forgot to include was the apricots...lots and lots of apricots! It was great to be there! I'm excited to see you soon!
Baby Boyd's room is so darling. You guys did such a great job - those stipes look perfect. You are looking cute as a little pregnant girl, I hope you feel as good as you look!!
The room is really cute! Hard to believe that Phil is already 25! Wow I must be getting old. How did we miss you in Idaho? guess I should have been more social! sorry!
ooooo i love the brown stripes! i wanna come see the finished project in person soon :) and also we will need to stick together now. i'm already in mourning with the loss of jess and nathan, and now apparently jade and ashton are moving? whats happening to the world? hope you are feeling good. call me soon.
So, I used to feel bad when my parents would come into town and end up doing a project. But, now I realize they like feeling like they are helping out.
WOW, that is a busy month. I would not be riding a stubborn horse pregnant either. Your belly in the pictures is adorable. i hope you are having lots of fun preparing for Boyd.
DARLING nursery jerai! we can't wait to finally meet baby boyd. i feel awful we've missed all the showers and things....much love!
What an adorable nursery!! It was so fun to spend time working and talking at the garden party! It was great to see you!
I haven't seen the room since it's been done... it looks SO good! Those pictures don't give all the work that went into it justice! When are you going to be in Portland? We really need to get in some quality time before we leave. We're ALL going to miss you so much. (I think Tink probably the most) Now we're all going to concentrate our efforts into getting you to OR. I've officially jumped on that bandwagon.
