April Showers Bring May Flowers

For us here in Utah, it's more like, April snow and freezing weather brings may flowers. It's amazing how last week it hailed and everything froze over night, but most of the flowers are managing to hang in there. Phil and I are so excited that our lawn is coming along. The grass is getting green and flowers are sprouting here and there. My favorite part, however, are our trees. All five of them have started to bloom and blossom and it is so beautiful. I think it's even more beautiful because it's in our own yard. Unfortunately, the day after I took those beautiful pictures, there was a ridiculous storm(wind, rain, hail, lightening). When I realized that it was raining to so hard, the first thought that came to my mind was our trees in our back yard and that all of the blossoms would fall off. When I got home, many had fallen off, but it wasn't as bad as I thought.  We still have a lot of work to do on our back yard and it will be very fun to see the progress we make through out the summer.

I am so happy that you have a blog. I was looking at Jenna's blog and I saw your name on her list. Congratulations on finding out that your baby is a boy. That is so exciting. These next five months will really fly by, and before you know it your baby will be one years old just like mine is!!!
