The last weekend of June, our family headed down to Provo for a quick trip! Grandma Moulton and Pop Pop had planned a fun weekend for all the grandkids to celebrate their birthdays. The decided to do a birthday celebration for everyone rather than get each grandkid a gift throughout the year. This year we swam and ate dinner at Riverside, which was great and even Brewer jumped off the high dive. Say what?!? Riggs was a champ, loved the water and took a good nap and Lola was in heaven with her girl cousins.
The next day the big event happened. Wild Woman, Sarah, brought her wild animals to the house and we were able to have a private show. She brought 8 animals, a boa constrictor, skunk, hedgehog, chinchilla, tortoise, giant bunny, ringtail and umbrella cockatoo. The event started off with a band as she brought out the boa and Brisbane lost her mind for a just a second. The video is pretty awesome.
I knew immediately that Boyd would be in heaven. He started spouting all the information he knew about each animal she brought out. It almost seemed like Boyd and Emmett were try to beat each other on the information they knew. I was impressed by both boys and their animal knowledge.
Brewer on the other hand, didn't seem to be a huge fan at the beginning, which I could have told you he is the least interested in animals out of the kids. But Sarah won him over after a few animals and even had him come help with her teaching regarding the ringtail. Boyd also got to help with a demonstration of the umbrella cockatoo. Overall the kids loved the experience, each kid and adult got to pet or hold each animal. They learned a lot, even Boyd and Emmett learned a few new things.
Excellente! Perfecto!
