Halloween

October in the valley is a fun time for halloween. It seems like there are different activities and events packed all through the month. Our halloween festivities began at MD Nursery for their annual Fall Festival. We have gone every since we lived here. Like usual the kids did the hay ride, got their face painted, walked in the costume parade and did all the other fun games they provided.
Our ward did another awesome halloween party as well. Phil made a super awesome chili. Seriously. It was sooo good and gone before you could go back for seconds. All of the food was really good and the kids had a great time going around to all the different games. Even Brewer went off with Boyd to a few games without mom or dad!
Halloween day, school was out, so the kids had a little halloween party put on by Tiffany and I helped here with that. At the end all the kids in the school did a costume parade in the gym for parents. On Halloween we helped Phil at the shop and then our whole family met up with the Calderwood's to do Trick or Treating on Main. Our plan after trick or treating on main was to grab a bite to eat and then head to the church for a trunk or treat. When we got to the church we changed our minds about that idea (we had our reasons) and we decided to do some reverse trick or treating. We took our candy bowl and headed to our friends houses to give them candy. We are sorta thinking that should be the way it's done every year! Boyd even got to go to his teachers house, which he thought was pretty awesome.
Some friends, David and Rachel Kunz, invited us over to dinner for the evening. It was a blast. The food was so good and the company even better. Boyd and Brewer weren't spotted almost the whole night because they were having so much fun, except when they ventured into the kitchen for food. The Kunz's also invited Chris and Jalyn and Chris and Candyce's families. It was a great catching up and making new friends!
