Tuesday, June 14th was the annual Monson Tea Party. The theme was Vintage School ~ Fun with Dick & Jane. As always it was beautiful and there were so many wonderful details. The pictures can explain it all! I had a few projects that I worked on for a few days. The giant pencils turned out so cute, but were more work than I thought they would be. I think they added a great touch to the table settings! They were filled with hershey's kisses and then our charms, a jack, was tied to the top with a red string. So cute!
We even had a lunch line...
...complete with lunch ladies!!
Sisters with their lunches!!
We had homemade mac & cheese, veggies, jello, a roll, and milk!! It was so yummy! Much better than any school lunch I ever had! =)
After dinner and dessert, we had a little lesson, which I missed due to a huge tantrum Boyd decided to throw. I finally put him in his jammies, gave him some bread, and told him to go to sleep when he was done with his bread. Then I left him in his bed. The lesson was done when I came back outside and we were all headed off for recess. We jumped rope, hula hooped, and played kick ball. It was so much fun!
We even managed to get the 5 Moulton girls jumping together!
We had a pretty good turn out but still missed everyone who couldn't be there! It was so much fun! I feel very blessed to be able to be a part of this tradition and I am already looking forward to next year!!
This was a little project that I worked on. Again it wasn't my idea, I just executed. We got each persons first grade picture and made our very own Monson class picture. It turned out so great and everyone got to take a copy home! Mine is hanging on my fridge. =)

Did Jill make those awesome quilts? If yes, I wouldn't put it past her, if she made it just for that occasion? I also love the idea of the 1st grade pictures!! Your pencils turned out great.
