The middle of September Boyd and I flew to Oregon for ten days. Boyd did awesome on the plane on all 4 flights (on the way and way back), to the point that people we complimenting us! I was so happy with Boyd and that our airport adventure went so well!! The first 5 days Boyd and I stayed at Justin's and babysat their 4 kids, Macie (9), Marley (7), Trenton (4), and Taryn (18 months). It was quite the adventure and while we were busy it couldn't have gone better! Boyd and Taryn did fight a little over toys, but that was expected and I was prepared for that. All in all, I had a great time babysitting and it was so much fun to get to spend so much time with Mace, Mar, Trent, & Taryn. Usually when I see my nieces and nephews every one is all together and it's hard to spend some one on one time with all of them. So I was glad to spend time with just their family!
After babysitting I stayed with my Mom and Dad and just hung out. Every morning Boyd would watch Curious George with my parents and I went back to bed. It was heaven and let's just say I was sad to leave! We spent a lot of time up at JaNea's (Jeremy and Jade's families were out of town) and Boyd loved it there! They have a great big yard, a trampoline, a play structure, and Gabe. Boyd loved Gabe. He was awesome! The first day I got there I spent a few hours up there and literally did not see Boyd the whole time. Gabe just played with him and was so happy to a big friend. It was so adorable to see them play together! Gabe melted my heart!
Justin and Ashley also treated me to a massage and pedicure (and babysitting)! Which was glorious and so much fun to spend some adult time with Justin and Ashley! I also got to see some friends. Boyd and I went up and visited Lacey one morning and then for dinner we headed to Cathy's to see Cathy and Katlin. It was so much fun to see every one and catch up! Boyd had a great time too and was quite the charmer!
Gabe giving Boyd rides on the soap box car. So cute!
Grandma helping load every one on for another run.
While I was inside chatting with JaNea we looked out the window to see Gabe encouraging Boyd to go down the slide and reassuring Boyd that he would catch him at the bottom. I missed the good picture just by a second--Boyd had just turned around.
Playing outside with the triples.
Boyd and Henry
Every one came over for the BYU football game Saturday night while I was babysitting. It was chaos but it was fun to see every one! This was the line up we had for dinner. Jeremy and his two older boys, Max & Ike, spent the night. When all the kids went down, Jer and I played the Wii and in the morning we made German Pancakes for breakfast! So fun!!
Henry, Lucy, Charlotte, Taryn, & Boyd
During the football game the older kids were busy building this giant tower! Pretty impressive.
Jumping on the trampoline!
Katlin got Boyd a little remote control car for his 2nd birthday! Here he is just after opening it.
He loved it! And he still plays with it multiple times a day! Thanks Katlin!

I just LOVE looking at all your pictures and see how much all the kids have grown. What a fun bunch of kids!!! It really takes you a moment to figure out who is who! I'm glad you got to spend so much time with your family and catch up on friends.
It would be so great to see both of our families united one day! I keep dreaming! :o)
