The fist of September Phil, Boyd, and I drove up through Island Park to Henry's Lake. We drove to Phil's grandparents cabin to help set up their direct TV. While Phil and Grandpa Monson were busy setting up the dish, Boyd Grandma and I went for a canoe ride. Boyd was in heaven up there. A brand new place to run around, water, a boat, a new house to explore, and new toys! What more could a boy ask for?

Boyd was pretty excited to help carry the ores up, especially since there were "doo" (two).

I think Jason and Vanessa have a place on the lake, I wonder if it is close...what a beautiful place! Before you know it, Boyd will grow into those oars!
what a fun little trip!!!! i've never taken jake boating i wonder what he would think of it..
