Portland: May 2009

We did it. Boyd and I got on a plane together and flew to Portland for the week. The flight couldn't have any better. It's so funny how different people treat you with a baby. At the Salt Lake airport I had some nice man help me through security and another man tell me that I was brave, two things that I appreciated and helped us on our way.

The reason that we flew up to Portland was so that we could go to the baby blessings for Charlotte, Lucy, and Henry as well as for Mother's Day. It was a wonderful day! The blessings were so sweet and it was so neat to be there with all of my family (except Phil).

We didn't do any thing too exciting. I just played with my family every day and got to see a couple of close friends. In the week, we managed to go the park, the zoo, swimming, and I was even able to see a move (thanks Mom for watching Boyd).  It was so much fun, but I have to say that I'm glad I'm not a single parent.

After being away for a week, and a terrible experience at the Portland airport, involving us missing our flight and dealing with some unpleasant and very unhelpful people, it was so great to be reunited with Phil again. It was so sweet to see Phil and Boyd's reunion. I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful husband who loves his family so much!

At the Oregon Zoo. I LOVE the Oregon Zoo and was so excited to take Boyd!

We even saw the baby elephant!

Swimming with cousins!
I took Boyd down the slide 3 times and he didn't really seem to like it. Sorry, buddy.

I agree with Kristie, those pictures of Boyd are ADORABLE! He's so cute! I am glad at least one air port was a good experience! Traveling with a baby is so much work!

It's funny how we don't see pictures of the triplets until you go visit. Loved to see how they are growing so big.

I am glad you survived your first flight-flying with a baby or toddler for that matter is always an adventure. I love boyd's big eyes in all the pictures-he is darling. I am impressed with the chickens-all those moulton's are farm boys at heart:)
