This past weekend my parents flew in from Portland, Oregon to spend some time with their grandson (and Phil and I too). It was so much fun to have them in town and to be able to play and to know Boyd a little more. On the way home from the airport, Boyd just stared at my Mom in this "I think I know you" face.
The highlights of the trip included: a trip to Cabela's, watching conference, yummy swedish pancake breakfast prepared by my Dad and Mom, and just hanging out.

I thought going to Cabela's would be a lot of fun. The boys like it for obvious reasons and I knew Boyd would have a fun time looking at EVERY THING. I still think Boyd would have like Cabela's, but I guess we'll have to go again because he slept the ENTIRE time we were there. Oh well. We still had fun.

Boyd really enjoyed playing with his grandma and grandpa Thelin. We hope that they will come back and visit soon!

Cute bangs Jerai! Your hair looks great. (I would guess that is a compliment to Kristie too?) I love Boyd's bath picture. I think I can tell Peyton and him are related in that picture. We picked up mom and dad from the airport Sunday. They were being positive, but we could tell they were sad to leave you guys. I was a little sad about your mean April Fools joke- booking then canceling plane tickets. I'm kidding, I know it was an honest mistake. I'm so keeping my fingers crossed that you get ding-ed again, so you can come in May!! We would love to have you guys!

Great pictures jerai! i'm glad you had a fun weekend, thanks for having us over on saturday morning--i would probably travel to portland just for your dad's swedish pancakes..the good company is a bonus too though :) also, your hair looks really good! it looks like you were able to make your bangs cooperate? hope to see you soon, its supposed to be nice this week so we should take the boys to the park? love you!

It was great to be with you! I was sad to leave, but now am looking forward to the next visit! We love you, and your little Boyd!
