A little boy!

Last Wednesday, Phil and I went to find out the gender of our baby. I was so worried that we would not be able to tell what it was because at the time I was only 15 weeks along. However, we were only in the ultra sound room for a maximum of five minutes. It did not take the nurse very long to discover the gender...he was in the perfect position to be able to tell. Phil and I can't be happier. Afterwards, Phil told me that while he was sitting in the ultra sounds room, he had been preparing himself to be excited for a boy, but then thought to himself, wait a minute, this could be a girl. I have to admit that I felt the same way. Over the last couple of months, I have had various dreams of holding a baby and in each dream the baby was a boy. I wasn't sure if these dreams meant anything, but I felt strongly that he was going to be a boy; I guess dreams come true.

The next day we went to the Jazz playoff game in Salt Lake, which made having a boy seem even more fun. Phil said he was looking forward to taking his boys to jazz games. I have to admit that I saw some pretty cute jazz gear for babies and little kids. I told Phil that he was free to take our boy to as many Jazz games as he wanted. The game was really fun and exciting! However, we weren't quite as happy went we left Salt Lake--the Jazz lost.
